Are there now more than a few annual statements in your annuity file?
Has it been 5-years or more since you made an annuity part of your retirement plans?
If so, it's now time for a deep dive into how your money has performed.
How has that large sum of money you deposited grown in value - have your actual results met the expectations that you had?
Could the money in your annuity be working harder for you?
Let's start by telling you what is needed to thoroughly analyze your annuity.
All I need is your most recent annual statement - and maybe a phone call to the insurance company if you have the type of annuity that fluctuates in value.
With that annual statement in hand, I will prepare an Annuity Review for you that includes:
Your annuity issue date and the date that there are no longer any possible withdrawal penalties
Your initial premium amount, the current value, and your average annual rate of return
Your current amount of penalty-free liquidity - how much can you access today
Total amount of any withdrawals that may have been made
Your contract's tax-type - Traditional or Roth IRA, 403(b), non-qualified, etc.
Your options within your annuity - comparing the fixed accounts and indexed accounts that you can reallocate your annuity value to annually
Current annuity death benefit amount and your current beneficiaries
Any policy riders or special features - income or death benefit enhancements, additional benefits for inability to perform activities of daily living
Total cost of any policy fees or charges that you may be paying
Estimate of future growth prospects for your annuity
Insurance company financial ratings - AM Best, Finch, S&P, et al
For 44-years I have prepared annuity reviews for brand new clients and for long-time clients.
Let's take a detailed look at your annuity and see how it stacks up.
You may own a contract from Athene, Allianz, American Equity, Global Atlantic, MassMutual, Nationwide or others - I have the tools and experience to provide you with clarity about the annuity you own.
No cost or obligation.
