That's the best part of my job!

After several meetings, lots of questions, lots of answers and lots of discovery.....the light bulb goes on. You can see it- a confirmation of something they had hoped would be ok.

The new clients sitting in front of me for the first time believe and understand that they can retire with comfort and with predictability and with a "cushion".

What was unclear is now in focus. What was parts scattered here and there is now a cohesive package of complementary retirement resources. What was a worry in the gut is now a smile across the face.

That is the best part of my job.

The nice part for me is that this "best part" repeats time and time again with the same clients.

Annual reviews are reminders of the sustainable plans we have put in place.

Phone calls to make arrangements for the unexpected reveal how we have prepared for contingencies.

Last month I got a thank you card from the daughter of a twenty-year client who had recently passed. She thanked me for the peace-of-mind and financial stability I had provided to her Mom and step-father for all those years.

For sure, that's the best part of my job!
